i've all the parts for my retrofit, but i'm still trying to figure out how you mount the projector. i'm using an fx35/45 projector with upgraded lens. most people using the JnC method mount the projector to the floor of the headlight with L brackets and some kind of riser. unfortunately, as you know we have no floor directly underneath the center of our bulb where the projector would go.

if anyone could post up pictures or anything of how they mounted their projector, i would VERY VERY much appreciate it.

 

oh and originally i was going to do a quad retrofit with tsx lows and valeo halogen highs, but i have since ditched that idea, so i have some pristine tsx projectors fs!

 

Make a mount with plexi glass... cut the bowl... JB Weld to the edges.

 

I used sheet metal to make my mount. I used this as a guide. Hope it helps.

Where did you pick up the extra set of headlight from and how much? Just got me xA and looking for a set to start my retro. Going to put FX35 w/ 300zx clear lense and L8 (gatlin gun shroud).

 

i didn't. i have an extra car so i'm going to be doing this over the course of several nights next week. we finished my buddy's accord in 4 nights.
