Default HIDExtra Bi-Xenon Install Problem

Hi guys. I installed the HIDExtra BiXenon kit today in my wife's xA and they seem to work fine. However the issue occurs when I turn on the high beams. I hear the rotating or whatever of the shielding and the driver's side high beam comes on, however the passenger side does not.

To be clear, the low beams work, but the passenger side high beam does not work. I believe I have everything wired up correctly so I'm not sure what the issue is.

This is the kit that comes with the relay harness and only has one 3 prong plug that plugs into the factory harness. I plugged it into the driver side one and taped up the passenger side one.

Well it doesn't work even without electric tape. I only taped it after because someone suggested it to avoid water getting in there.

EDIT: Damnit, I found the problem. The stupid passenger side light has a dual wire connector with one of the wires severed. How the heck it happened, I have no clue.

Glad you got it fixed. How is it working now? You might have to aim the lights down a couple turns each side to get the aiming better. I have had mine for several months now, and i use them every night coming home from work. They are really great for the price.

Did any of you have problems with the install? I bought my brother a kit for Christmas and he swears he can't get them to ignite. I remember that with the mobilehid.com kit you had to flip one of the connectors for the kit to work.

Did you guys have to do that with this kit? Or did it work with no modifications/deviations from the instructions?

My wife's lights worked fine for awhile after getting a replacement set of bulbs from hidextra. However, the new problem as of this afternoon is that the driver side light won't turn off at all. My wife is at work and I had her disconnect the light so we'll see if I can look at it when she gets home. Unfortunately it might be too dark by then, but I'll have to find a way.

If I can't figure it out I might just rip out the set. They seem to be too much trouble at this point. Maybe I'm just tired.

not to sh*t on hidextra, but i'm using 55w ballasts from ddm tuning and a wiring harness and i've had no problems. even when i was PnP, no issues with the initial ignition or during use. i had them for PnP for about a month a half, and i've been using them for my retrofit for the last week with no issues.

and they were only like $55 shipped. just letting you know there are other options.
