OMG its the first time i ever posted a new post in drag coefficient ok ok fine first time this year
so anyways
lowered car and snow
need to know what you think
those air dams in front of the wheels the ones on each side of the front end in front of the tires, yeah you know what i'm talking about
would you take those off to help protect 'em from the snow or would you keep 'em on there
yeah yeah yeah this is the first lowered car i ever drivin and owned
btw its the tanabe NF210's inch drop and today we have gottin about 5-7 inches (ok ok 4.75 inches+) of snow already and driving home i heard 'em "plowing snow" and was just wondering if its a wise idea to take my "snow plows" off

I'm lowered of Tanabe DF210's and this past summer I decided to take those airdams off. Removing the airdams uncovers a nice open section under the bumper so needless to say I put the darn things back on. My solution to this issue was to pick up a dremel and have at them. I removed the section of the airdam that hangs down and reinstalled the parts. It looks nice and clean and I will soon find out how it works with snow because we are expected to get about 5-7 inches of that crap today.

Sorry for the delay gents. Anywho, here is a pic of what I did:
Look closely under the foglights and you will see what the parts look like when trimmed, all you see is a slight lip and a little bit of the screws that hold the airdams onto the bumper.

the upper front grill looks clean! How did you get rid of the buttt ugly bars?

Lowered and in snow for the second season without any problems.... I am running on 15"s and 185's....
She's no good out on the lake , but driven through whatever mom nature has dished everyday since 9/04!
