Are you saying that you don't have a third brake light on your rear window?

That's odd.. :/

Id run the wire from either fixture brake light wire then up through the side to celling to the opening. Strange no 3rd light, I think those are required since 1986.

Dude, you drill a hole through the hatch to pass the connector through to the third brake light. On the inside hatch area wher ehte nozzle is you should see a hole and a hole or plastic cover. Back there is where the plug should be if they did away with the 3rd brake light.

Dude, not unless you want it to light when you turn on your parking lights. The cable is suppose to go through the black tube that connects the hatch to the roof of the car parallel to the squirt tube for the rear windshield washer.

I would run a cable from the rear lamp housing to the brake lead on the parking/brake light to your spoiler.

see thats the thing.. it isnt run along with the squirt tube.. i can see where the squirt tube goes... but the blue cable... goes up abit.. thn merges with another cables... and runs right into the trunk door.. i wanted to know if i disconnect it from the connector if it would affect anything.. cuz its clear that the connections r there.. just being used with something else? i dunno... i wanna know if i disconnect it.. and just run the spoiler to that connector if it would work..

dude, thats some wierd ish, I too have an 04 and my third brake light is sitting smack in the top center of the window. Maybe its some sort of conspiracy.
My spoiler should be coming in a few days, hope i dont have any trouble. Well let us know how it works out.
