Default stock horn sucks

I was kinda shocked to see how quiet the stock horn is.(I'm used to having my truck horn) I bet in traffic other people cant even hear it. So, I had this idea. Train horns. I had/have a set on my truck that I'm trying to sell. So I figure, why not see if I can get the horns to fit on my car? here is a link to the specs/size of the horns.

http://www.hornblasters.com/products....php?item=HB4H

I tried looking at the front grille, but it seems that it's all closed up and I'll have to take apart panels before I see if there is any even room to fit them there. Maybe somewhere under the rear? I'll be working on it the next couple of days, so maybe sometime soon I will have completed pics and a video if I can find a place to mount them...

p.s. here are a couple of video clips to show how loud the horns are...

The xA actually has twin horns. I added a Low-Tone Highway Blaster to the two stock horns. With all 3 it's louder and has sort of a European/ late model VW sound to it. I paid about $12 for it. All I had to do was mod the mounting bracket some to make it fit.

If anyone would like pix, let me know.

My stock horn is actually quite loud. I hate standing in front of my car when I lock or unlock it because it makes my ears ring.

aftermarket alarm system?

i hate honking alarms....

the scion security for the xA (and only for the xA) has toyota's famous chirp... which i like... but stealthy alarms for lock/unlock is still better imo.

and jason.. hmm.. if you want train horns... go for it.

well, I've decided to give up on the 4 piece horns with the tank and compressor(not enough room for my liking...)but I still want air horns! I'm looking at a smaller three piece that has a direct drive compressor built in. So all I would have to do it hook up a power switch...

I have the 4 horns in the front bumper. I have the front bumper off now (in the shop again) so I will take some pic so you can see how I installed mine. Might give you an idea on how to install yours.
