I think you might be talking about a wiper cowl & from the pics I have seen I dont think there is. If its what im thinking, you are talking about a part of the hood or something around there that the wipers move under to help reduce air drag while no in use right?

 

i think so...i just remember back in highschool (almost 10 yrs ago)...some people had them on their trucks....just wanted to see what it would look like on a xa...

 

It might look good if done right & painted body color.

 

Any one know who might make one. I too am looking to put it on my black Xa. I need it like a junky, man !

 

There's a fabulous cowl cover, but I can't remember where I've seen it for sale. I'll try to do some looking in the next couple days for you.

Actually, I was thinking more along these lines. The hood wing doesn't come up near enough. Still shows the wipers. I like the way the wiper cowl gives the windshield an almost chopped-top effect without the chopping. It is a cool experiment which I will be trying soon. I may know some people in the body business. If I can make a kit for the Xa, you think there would be a market for them?

The angle of it is kind of too high in my opinion. If it would flow more with the hood angle instead of coming up so vertical like a Hummer windshield. It would look good.

 

That was what I was kinda thinking too. I'll get to work on it. Think it should screw into the plastic colw under the wipers or would it be easier to use 3M adheisive like aftermarket door moulding?

 

If its for that look your kinda out of luck i think, unless you have a one off made. If its that function you seek , the one linked is perfect!
