Default xA Mod Questions

Guess I'll start off with the seats... Anyone find that the seats in the xA are way to high? I love the seats in general, comfort and fabric. However the seats are way to high. Granted the car sits kind of high to begin with, has anyone ben able to successfully lower these seats by using any method?

Anyone know how to adjust the pedal positions in the car as well? The actual owner of the xA (Wife) is wanting to go with a silver/green theme on the car. So I'm checking into the basics (Lighting)... First thing I'd like to tackle is the compartment light which is amber, wondering if anyone has actually taken this apart to see how this light is being colored. Guess main concerns would be more functionality of the car (Seats/Pedals).

Check the FAQ section on how to remove the center dash to get to the "oven" bulb. Took me about 5 minutes to change the amber color to blue. Go pick up a 194 bulb or cover in the color of your choice before you start. You can change the color of the AC controls while you're at it (also in the FAQ)

To adjust the seats and pedals....adjust the driver

I found the seats to be about an inch too high when getting in and out of my xA.

Got the TRD spings - problem solved! (probably not what you were thinking)

Be very careful with the trim pieces that you'll be removing for the "oven" bulb swap. They are very soft plastic (like most of the interior pieces) and can be easily gouged!

hahaha, you guys theres a similiar topic going on right now in general xA discussion

for the ez-bake oven light, mikochu's got a cool little tech article that teaches you how to remove the panels on the side to get at the guts of the oven.
