This is the design that should be done for the xA! I'll bet it would be a big seller.

This Kaminari hood just came out for the Scion TC. Hopefully someone will start manufacturing this style for the xA.

I'll contact Kaminari and find out if they have any intentions on producing this hood for the xA.

If no one produces it within a few months, I'll start looking into having one made.

I talked with Coi about this hood today and a few other things! If we can get the support he will make them... I jokingly mentioned a CF hatch, Coi just told me to get the support for it and he would gladly make one.

Its a Quality hood @ half the price and a 1/4 of the wait the only other option ive found.

I dont know what hood this is or anything about the pic but wanted to give some guys a example of what this would/could look like.

There is only one reason I didn't buy the above hood, and it's not the price, or the wait. -I don't like the design.

I think on a vented hood, the trailing edges of the vent should flare out, not go in, or straight, like on the above hood. Having the trailing edges flare out increases air speed by using the venturi effect, and looks better, too. The edges don't have to flare out much, but I think the above hood doesn't look right.

If you are talking about making the vented hood out of 1x1 weave, which is stronger, and has true JDM style, sign me up now! If Coi can make a matching CF rear hatch, sign me up for that too! I'm ready to pay if you can make that happen, and the products are good quality.

How's that for support?

This thread definitely proves that point.

I will continue to search for a manufacturer for the xA CF vented hood (in a better style than what's available now).

I've already got a couple of leads....

if its not too late to put in a vote (or two) #1 or #4 both look nice, and if photoshopped, would definately look good IMHO
