Wife ran the Scion into the oil change place, they changed the oil and checked her air filter. She came home complaining of a noisy rattle, popped the hood and the air cleaner housing isn't secured.

Either they broke it, or I was just too tired and it was too dark to get it back together. The box has two clamps in the front and none in the rear. Are there supposed to be 4 clamps on the box or does the rear just clip in? I couldn't remember from the last time I changed the filter and I don't have the car infront of me right now to go over it. Getting ready to call the oil change place and give them an earful but want to make sure I'ts not just my stupidity. Looked at the parts fiche and it doesn't really clear anything up for me.

theres no clamps in the rear...

you'll see it how it works when you remove it and reinstall it

they didn't put the rear tabs in place; the tabs fit into slots then the front pushes down and gets clamped.

thanks guys! We got it. Actually she got it.

I've changed the filter before and didn't have a problem, I think I was just too tired to sort it out in the dark when she came home with the rattle.
