lol, its okay. welcome to the site. the release is just above where the drivers side kick panel stops. it does blend it pretty well, so you'll have to get down and look for it the first couple times. i still do once i a while if i haven't opened it for a bit. then after you pop that, of course you'll still have the latch outside under the hood you gotta press, but that's much easier to find. gl

no prob, either post up here or send me a pm if you got any other questions. i feel i am reasonably knowledgeable, and on this site WAY too much.

Cool Thanks...do you have a good source of getting an owners manual...I really would like a listing of what maintenance should be due at what mileage...

if you want a hard copy, ebay would probably be the cheapest, but theyre expensive anywhere. here is all the information you should need though: https://www.scionlife.com/tech/manual/?manual=xa04_0001

I did not see in there the recommended maintenance schedule as far as what needs to be replaced at what miles, etc...

damn, i didnt even notice, i thought it would be in that last section marked maintenance, but guess not. are you able to access this link? http://proxyservices.scionowners.com...nanceguide.pdf

if not, sign up at scionowners.com (dont worry, its free) and you should be able to access the maintenance guide and some other important stuff
