2005 xA. Water puddle.
Hey all,
It's been getting chilly here, and I started using my heater a bit more. I noticed I'm seeing some puddles under the front center of the car now. It's water as far as I can tell. I've owned my xA for about 7 years and don't remember seeing this before. I've seen it after running AC, sure, but not really after running heat.
Maybe I've just never noticed in all these years? Is it normal? Water pump going bad?

Same question here! I have AC water (or so it seems, possible also from heat) that drips behind the front passenger tire onto the pavement where I park. Is this where AC condensation should go? I checked my tube under my mat on the passenger side, and it is connected correctly. Where does AC condensation water leak to usually?

No, it's not normal. A/C and heater are entirely separate, and good eyes for noticing.
No water inside? If not, it's a hose. They are very cheap from the factory and I am surprised it lasted 7 long years. Check the return line coming from the heater core from inside the car. The hose you're looking for will be coming out into the engine bay from the firewall. Also, a pressure system test is always good, that'll find it right away, but an easier way is to turn the car on and run the heater and look underneath the car to see exactly where it's coming from. It might be a waterfall effect, so you might have to look quite a ways up into the engine bay to see the initial leak, not necessarily where it's dripping last.
