2006 Scion xA vs 2007 Toyota Corolla LE
I have to say that I'm really in love with my xA, but I've always been drawn to the corolla especially with its 2007 LE model. I don't know but I'm having 2nd thoughts about my xA (as much as I love it since it's my very 1st car ever). Does somebody own a 2007 corolla LE and state the pros and cons against the xA (in terms of gas economy, space, design etc..)?
I drove the Corolla, Yaris and the xA and I must say the Corolla is way too Conservative for me. I'm surprised they don't come with a "W" sticker in the back glass. The Yaris is just plain butt & snout ugly.
The Corolla is a great car. It has a nicer interior than the xA. It gets slightly better mileage than the xA. However, it looks less sporty (IMO). It is way more common (you see them everywhere). IMO, it is less fun to drive even though it has more HP.
The Corolla has a bigger trunk than the storage area on the xA, but when you fold down the seats on the xA, you have a bigger useful cargo area on the xA.
It is probably a tough choice between the two for alot of people. However, if you already have the xA, I can't imagine trading it in for a Corolla.

I honestly don't see what's great about the Corolla. In fact, everyone in my house and my friends (except for one of them cause she bought one) thought it's the ugliest car in the world and doesn't even deserve to be given as a gift. I guess we really do hate it that much.
With the money to buy a Corolla, I think people could use that money to buy a Honda Civic or just get the xA. With the xA, you get lots of standard options compare to the Corolla and it cost less than a Corolla.
For me, I can not live without the steering wheel audio control. It's very convenient and it keeps my hand on the steering wheel. My friend's Corolla may have a little more power than my xA, but with my car, I have some features she doesn't have that is useful to me.
It all depends on your preference. I honestly can't live without the steering wheel audio controller, the auxiliary jack, and the rear folding seats.

Stick with the xA! I agree with the previous posts that the Corolla is too conservative looking for me. It looks like any other car on the road. The S looks nice, but its still the same car with fancy body trim.
You had the right idea with the xA, don't second guess yourself. If you did trade it in, you'd regret giving up the xA.

I knew my xA was such a much more fun car in every aspect. I can always keep adding to the engine and give it more pep. but with the Corolla you don't want to add anything or you will be like " can I put this Corolla engine in my xA!?!?"
Now that would be sublime Heh.
