I would like to see these things:
01. Standard 1.8L from corolla.
02. Standard 4 Wheel Disk Brakes with ABS & EBD still.
03. Standard Seat Height Adjustable.
04. Standard Cruise Control.
05. Standard Better A/C.
06. Option for Celica 1.8L.
07. Option for Moon Roof.
08. Standard LED Blinkers in the mirror housing.
Then the most important things add all this & keep the price about the same. Also dont add to much weight to the car. Thats all I can think of.

1st: Keep the weight down, otherwise all other mods are moot
2nd: Increase power, either a higher compression ratio or actually making a low PSI turbo for this beautiful car.. like tbblizzard said, 20-30 hp would make a HUGE difference in this light/tiny car
3rd: 6 speed tranny out of the XRS/GT-S engine would be awesome (as would the engine) but I'm not sure how much additional weight it would add
4th: Suspension improvements like an independent rear suspension because there isn't much use in adding power if you can't get it to the ground
5th: 4 wheel disc brakes would be great, or at least parts available to do it with, from my research only a few cars have the hub size and center bore and rear discs to possibly pull parts from
6th: Cruise control would be nice, but I believe that is already an option for the 2005s?
THANKS FOR LENDING AN EAR!

Standard equipment:
More power, even with a regeared 5 speed would be great -150hp ought to do it.
keep weight the same
Oil psi gage
water temp gage
Options:
AWD
Sport seats
OK, make the "More power" an option... I'd pay extra for it.
4 wheel disk brakes (they are on the Matrix and will bolt right on) make this madatory with the "more power" option.
Auto trans with "sport" mode for firmer shifts.

1.) The larger guages from the XB.
2.) Floor mats standard.
3.) Radio with a turn **** for volume.
4.) New grill style. Looks too much like a dodge product in a rear view mirror.
5.) Painted body side moldings instead of the black plastic.
The most important thing is to keep the value pricing as is. The price is the greatest thing about this car. It is the best value car buy on the market right now. To many performance changes will price this car out of it's class.

*Cruise Control as an option
*More effective A/C
*Floormats standard
*Better rear-view-mirror visibility. The rear headrests block nearly all visibilty, and are a safety concern in my opinion.
*Another gear for the transmission. At highway speeds the RPMs are just too high, and the engine noise is too great as a result. The automatic should be a 5 speed, and the manual needs a 6th gear.
*More factory wheel options
*Restyle it so it doesn't get confused with the Daewoo/Chevy Aveo. Perhaps a new chrome grill, or something.
*Integrate the antenna into the rear glass like the xB
