2nd generation xA!!!!!!!!

3rd: 6 speed tranny out of the XRS/GT-S engine would be awesome (as would the engine) but I'm not sure how much additional weight it would add
4th: Suspension improvements like an independent rear suspension because there isn't much use in adding power if you can't get it to the ground
5th: 4 wheel disc brakes would be great, or at least parts available to do it with, from my research only a few cars have the hub size and center bore and rear discs to possibly pull parts from
6th: Cruise control would be nice, but I believe that is already an option for the 2005s?
THANKS FOR LENDING AN EAR!

be real, guys. how much you willing to pay for all these nice add on?serious, xA+1.8L corolla engine = corolla S, that's about 15k, anyone willing to pay for it? xA+1.8L celica engine+6 speeed tranny = corolla XRS, that's more than 18k!! at the price point, scion isn't going to sell a lot of those.
for me, I don't need power, bring the japanese 1.3L ist over here, and sell it for 1k less, i will buy it. or get a hybird version of xA, i will pay 17k for that.

I really agree about making an AWD xA. Keep the weight down, as I feel like that is the xA's strongest point performace-wise. If it had an ind. rear suspension and a little more poweful engine, we would have a real platform for performance in a really good looking car. I would buy that over an Impreza or an Evo any day! Imagine the recognition Scion would get in WRC!
-glovebox box can be closed with key
-better A/C (starlet 1.3 has better a/c than xA!!)
-steering must tilt down more
-option for moonroof or sunroof
-better gear system (improve shifting and add 6th gear or better overdrive)
-fog lights
-little bigger fuel tank if possible
-hidden integrated antenna
-option for replacing the ovenlight box cover with an LCD screen
-option for add led flashing lights for the sunroof or moonroof from inside that works with audio HU like equlizer or something like that
-option for trd rims 17" because 19" is little big
-option for adding digital gauges oil temp or voltage level or airflow meter or speed or anything else
sorry for asking to much just ideas  :D

I have suggestion:
Borrow the IS300 fog light lenses, so we have nice yellow fog lights. Cheap, effective, and already in the Toyota parts inventory.

Another suggestion:
This suggestion isn't just specifically for the xA, but all of Toyota's cars. . .
We all know that alarms are meant as a deterent for theft, but it rarely stops a thief from smashing a window and grabbing some CD's. . .
I would like to suggest an uprade to the Scion Security system, as well as all Toyota's, what will help to move these alarms off the shelves and derive extra profit off these already highly profitable items.
We need interior protection: a well designed (cheap to manufacture) interior deterrent. It can't be lethal or dangerous either, so I suggest an audible deterrent. I high pitched, high volume alarm siren(1 or more) placed within the cabin, that activated upon intrusion. To prevent accidents, a two stage arming system can be used, via a code on the remote key fob, the door lock, or maybe an interior switch(which is then disabled after arming). Designing such a system would be VERY inexpensive, VERY effective, and would be a VERY strong selling point.

Pros:
Better Protection.
Cons:
Ear Plugs.
Deaf Theifs.
Also once the theif is gone & your not around it would keep making noise & drive more ppl crazy. I think a loackable storage container would be much better. Also a system that when a window is broken would cut power to the whole car. The only way to restore power would be with a special key that is only ment to restore this power.

Yeah, I agree that lockable storage would be nice. . .
also realize that smart petty thieves do not exist.
The risk and the gains from petty theft are tiny, and no smart criminal would do this, let alone be smart enough to carry ear plugs. Secondly, factory alarms are much less prone to "false alarms" and would only go off when an actual intrusion happens, vs cheap aftermarket alarms or ones that are badly installed.
Smart thieves are the ones that go for the real deal car thefts. . . talkin the whole car. And at that point, there's not much you can do to defeat them, no system is 100% effective, I mean they can always steal a tow truck, wear some cheap uniforms and tow your car away, and nobody will be the wiser. . .
But on cheaper vehicles, your more likely to have your windows broken, and small items stolen. . .
