Default Is 5W 20 Oil OK?

I changed my oil today. I change it about every 4500 miles. I use the Toyota Oil Filter and Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil.

Normally I use 5W 30 which is what is in the owner's manual. After finishing, I noticed I had used 5W 20. I don't know what I was thinking when I bought the oil last week. I accidentally bought the wrong stuff and didn't even look at the bottles when putting it in today.

Is there any risk to using 5W 20. I know the 20 means the oil will be thinner at higher temperatures. Anyone know if the Scion xA engine has issues with 5W 20. I know alot of cars run 5W 20, but the xA says 5W 30. If it matters, it is a 2006 Scion xA.

Any help is appreciated.

youll be fine..cause actually if you went to the dealership to have it done..they would of used the 5w 20 any way since they switched oils from the 5w 30 to the 5w 20 it wont hurt anything

5w-20 is perfectly fine for Fall-Winter usage, since it takes a shorter amount of time for your engine to reach operating temp. w/ that 20 weight, as opposed to 30 weight
