Default Aftermarket exhaust donut issue

Recently had the opportunity to replace my the upper exhaust gasket/donut that goes between the exhaust manifold and cat. It was to late in the afternoon to get oem Toyota donut, so first replacement part was bought at oriellys.
Note my xA is all stock, not aftermarket exhaust
The down pipe from exhaust manifold that the donut should be a snug fit on has an O.D. of 1.904" , but the replacement donut I.D. measured 2.020, so a clearance of almost an 1/8" of an inch gap.
Installed this part an needless to say it did leak exhaust when tested, though not as noticeable as before.
Grabbed my digital calipers and took a drive to other parts stores, end up buying a felpro gasket/donut p.n. 61124, from auto zone, this donut had an ID. 1.920 so not a hammer on fit but very little clearance.
This was installed and worked as it should, now just need to see what the long term life will be.

Moral to the story is aftermarket parts may be repurposed parts, first gasket from oriellys turned out to be originally mustang gasket/donut, it did not show up on their computer but was found in a cross reference book by parts person.
The second donut, felpro p.n. 61124, states on package, Toyota 4, 1zzfe, 1998_00. This part did come up on Auto zone computer as for xa, per there parts person.
