Default Anyone know of a cheap Stability Control System for the xA?

From what I understand, any car with built in ABS like the xA simply needs a pretty simple device to give it stability control. The system generally costs car dealers less than $100 total. Don't really understand why the xA isn't offering this option when the xB has it as it is the only thing keeping me from buying an xA as soon as they become available locally. Stability control is a must have for me because of frequent icy road conditions in my area. I won't consider the xB as I hate the way they look. Checked online and prices I see are well into the $500+ range for aftermarket systems. Wondering if I could have a dealer put a xB stability control system on a xA? Or any cheap stability control systems out there at all? Or is anyone knows if stability control will be an option for the 2005 models as I would be willing to wait several months for this.

It's true that stuff is pricey... but folks need to earn a living.
