Really?? The paint on mine is very good. No orange peel and nice finish. The shifter is smooth too. Granted it's not as slick as my RX8 but it's very good for its class.

What I don't like is the horm. Too whimpy sounding.

The steering wheel position doesn't seem centered with the driver, it feels like the wheel should be a few centimeters to the left.
Very easy to accidentally hit the horn.
the paint seems fine to me, just wish there was a more variety in colors.

It needs about 30 more HP.

And I need better tires, terribly.

And the shifting can be a bit notchy.

30 more hp would be nice.

The tires that come on the xA RS are very good - Yokohama Avus H4s in 204/40/17. I'm sure whatever the regular tires are probably suck.

Another thing the xA NEEDS is equal length drive shafts. Way too much torque steer and more HP would make it even worse.

shifting is notchy, in part I sum that up to the cable shifter combined with a hydrolic clutch, seem's to have less feedback to my hand and foot. I really wish for factory sunroof. Ride is a little harsh but seem's to have settled.
Seat could use lumbar support and a few more adjustment's.
Color's are great.

Wind blowing noise once past 45mph...some rattling sound from the trunk area (possibly the cargo liner steel bar thingy). Car is sitting too high from factory spec. The Enkei wheels are just too weak and big. The moonroof is just plain difficult to shut completely (no stopping point between the slide and tilt poinit). The center console box light only lights up when door is open. Climate control dials can use higher quality materials.

Overall, the car is still no bad

With mine i have the rattleing in the back as well but i noticed this can be cleared up by putting the cover thingy in place. Even with the cover thingy in place i get a rattling from the far right part of the car. Just recently iam getting a rattling from where my cd player/ guages are. The stock speakers suck ___, except for the tweaters and i think ive blown 2-3 speakers so far cuz all they do now is rattle and ive had the car only 2 months. The stick ____ does stick a bit, but that doesnt bother me. The wind noise that you get from going fast, and the rattling of the windows when driving with them partly down. Lets see what else...The tires have no grip in rain and slid alot and skid. Yes we could use more then 108 hp, the fact that they also sell these things with such a high profile from the gorund makes me think they wanna sell those trd springs more in doing this.

Here are my nitpicks, I say nitpicks because I love the car, there are just a few things that could have been done better.

1. Notchy shifter. This causes me to grind gears going into 2nd more often than any other car I've owned.

2. Interior rattles. I have ratteling in the dash and the front doors.

3. A little more side bolstering in the seats, with side bolsters not going quite as high on the seat.

4. Torque steer. I notice this more when it's wet than any other time, since I get a little wheel spin before my traction control kicks in.

5, Road noise is a little excessive, but not too intrusive, especially with the volume up a bit

Overall though, love the car. Puts a smile on my face every time I get into it.

I don't like that I don't have an xA to keep my xB company.
Does that count? :D

Hey KevinxB, I think that does count! But another question for others, what is it about the paint that is so bad, and on what particular colors?
