Default best place to mount an mp3 player?

Hey everyone I just got a Zune and I ordered the Toy03aux/S for my 05 xA. I'm trying to think of a good place to mount this thing for:

Easy acess to buttons / screen
Something that'll let me easily pop it off and put it in my glove box for when I park (atlanta can be pretty ghetto)

I was thinking about the lighter mount, but I don't know if my auto shifter will get in the way..

What are yalls opinions?

Thanks

First, DO NOT store your player in the glove box when temps will fall below 50 or go above 90 or so. Either condition is very bad.

I struggled with mounting options too, and eventually settled on sticking it in the box with the pop up door. I ran the aux cable from my stereo through a hole I drilled in the top of that box. With the door closed, you can't see it from the outside, which is a bit of deterrent- but then again you can't access the buttons easily.

I never found a good place to mount it.

Yeah my pal just keeps his in the cup holder in his Yaris. I was thinking about running the wire into the box as well, I guess ill store it in the box and pull it out and stick it in the cup holder for easy access. Doesn't seem like there's a great spot to mount it.

My wife has a zx3 focus and the lighter adapter is in the PERFECT place for a lighter outlet mount. Oh well.

Thanks man

I have a PSP which I use to play all my media and GPS needs. I bought a windshield mount for it and have it placed to the left of my gauges. It's not perfect, but the buttons are easy to reach and the screen is easy to see. I don't have to worry about theft because I take it with me when I'm not driving.

I have a new Ipod Touch with a Tuffwrap case. I am thinking of mounting it next to the steering wheel on the lower part of the dashboard for easy access. Then make a mount for the passenger side so if I ride with someone they can watch a movie.

I will post pictures once I figure it out.

They sell some on eBay, but I actually found mines at a local Best Buy. It was called the Brackerton Mobile Grip-It Windshield Mount for Mobile Devices. It's very useful, it swivels 360 degrees, has multiple cushioned arms and adjusts its height to hold any handheld device.

I think the price is overkill at 30 bucks, but it gets the job done well. I like it on the windshield since I use my PSP as a navigation device as well as a media player. I couldn't ask for more.
