Brand New to Scion and Forum
Well, I figured I would just throw this up basically to say Hello.
I just purchased my Scion xA two days ago, traded in my beautiful '94 Mustang, I still shed tears for her. For some reason, I was looking at Chevy Cobalt's and Aveo's, but I just happened to walk into a Toyota Dealership with the intention of purchasing a new Yaris. I noticed the xA from the moment I pulled in, and the salesperson mentioned it, so I figured I'd take a look and an hour later I was signing paperwork.
I bought my 2006 Flint Mica 5 Speed xA used at about 16k miles with options selected by the previous owner. I'm still trying to get enough time in daylight to really see what extras were included, so I'm going to take a bit of time to figure out what I've got and what I'm going to do, and the pictures will be coming as the modifications happen.
Please leave me any suggestions on what I can do to tweak my little xA, I really never noticed them on the road until immediately after I signed my name over to one, so I haven't had much of an idea of their potential.
Glad to be here, absolutely love the feel of my xA.

Welcome to ScionLife! Always cool to see people buying xA's even after they stopped making them. If your into interior mods then you'll be glad to know that our cars are easy to take apart, almost all the inside pieces are held in with snaps. You can take a look at my profile for ideas, also visit the tech section of this site for "How to" articles.
Afraid there isn't much you can do for power tweaks other than getting a cold air intake. Our cars only have 1.5L engine so coming from a mustang it'll be hard adjusting to the low HP but you'll be glad you did after a few visits to the pump.
Anyways, enjoy the new car.

Welcome!
You'll soon realize there's plenty of tweaking to be found. From sway bars, springs, and coilovers, to headers, shortshifters, and intakes... there's TONS of stuff out there.
What these cars may lack in the power department, they make up for it in handling.
Don't forget to visit http://xateam.com, either!
