I wanna see how y'all are fittin' your hands through on the driver's side.

 

It's been a long time (I put SilverStars in about 18 months ago) but I do remember the one side being DANG TIGHT. I don't think I removed anything, I just figured out an angle that worked. Good luck.

 

i removed the fuse box and batt. made it easy as pie

 

Uni, it seems like it will just be a simple remove and replace on what you need to move to gain access to the light. So, if no one has done a pic post, it can't be too bad.

 

quickest way....go get a person with hands of a japanese guy...take him to your car and say...change it.

i was asking the guys at the dealership and they said...unless you have small japanese hands, you will need to take the bumper, grille and headlight assembly out just to get to the driver's side headlamp.

luckily (and unfortunately) for me, i meet the japanese hand requirement

 

good thin im filipino my hands fit in just perfect its hard to do it with your right hand though try facing your car and use ur left hand instead with the fuse box cover removed.

 

good call, never would've thought about that...i just put my left hand down there and then passed the replacement down with my right hand...it was hard not to touch the glass part of the bulb....

...i must remember this for next time.

..by the way..does anyone in cali have the luminics jdm yellow bulbs? or even the regular ones? i want to know if they are dot approved for california. i'm sure the yellows aren't, but i'm running silverstars currently, i just wish they were brighter.

Great.. I need JDM hands to swap bulbs.

 

Would a set of those JDM hands that you speak of be available from www.newscionparts.com? I'd like a set for future use.

Only if they are returned without damage or....obvious....usage. But look on the bright side, if they don't fit in your car think of all the other things they could be used for... wait a minute... on second thought - don't think about that.
