so when we bought the xa they said we could change the colors on the radio display but they didnt know how ...figures...anyways there is nothing in the book on how to do tihs ...so does anyone know how i can do it...thanks

 

only the upgraded radios can change its display colors..
(6-disc or iPod)

there's a color button you press....

otherwise.. you're going to have to have someone swap out the leds... (like myself... (plug.. ))

 

well im not in the car everyday since its my moms ...so there is a button that says color on it ??? iam prety sure it has the ipod capability

 

if it has two *****.. it's ipod combatible. there's a color button.. and it only changes the display.

Man....I am so stinking jealous of you guys who have a volume ****! My '05 has those stupid Volume ^ and v buttons. What a PITA those are. I did luck out and get the 6-disc changer for no extra cost, but I'd probably trade it for a single disc unit with a volume ****!

My car came with the iPod radio and the steering wheel controls. At first I thought
it was wasted on me. I am one of the few people that rarely turns on the radio. I
don’t listen to music, not because I hate it or anything but I always get a
headache when I listen to any music for more than an hour - it’s probably a
brain tumor. ANYWAY, I got the 2G Nano and now I listen to audio books when
I drive - I couldn’t imagine not having that iPod radio now.

I love the iPod capability.. I don't think I even own CDs anymore. All my friends get jealous too because they have to use iTrips and stuff that have horrible quality. I think my favorite part might just be when you unplug it and the screen says "Bye Bye iPod" Haha.
