Default Common problems with the xA??

Hey... so it's been a LONG time since I've been around these forums (since my box was totalled in '05!)

Anyway... my girl just bought an 06 xA from Carmax. They'll fix anything wrong with the car for free in the next 30 days. The only thing wrong with it that I can find is a peice of the weatherstripping on the bottom of the drivers side window is broken, and sorta hanging off.

Are there any common complaints with the xA's that I can check out now, and maybe have them fix next week when I bring it in?

I only know of a factory recall on Rostra-made cruise control systems; if it has that. Cheers

make sure you get them to take care of the tsb if it applies to her car. iif she has the problem the check engine light will come on. it's caused by moisture getting into the evap system. they have to replace a charcoal canister, filter, filler pipe cover, and the filler pipe cover holder.

Charocal canister is a knwn fault on all xA cars. They tend to crack when you drive too much in rain or very cold weather. Once they crack, the CEL comes on. Other than that I dont know of any problems.
Drove mine for 7K already and nothing yet

I'm having a problem with my xa? i've been having it for a while actually, but it seems that my A/C is leaking inside my car? My entire floor board on the passanger side is always soaked with water...

Has something to do with your fuel system I think. You can see it if you look under the rear of the car, it's the black box under about where your spare tire sits.

rough idling if you can call that a problem...I4's always have that issue. Radio channel changes if you hit a pothole while driving. Really rough shifting in the cold if you just crank it and go. Other than that really no problems!

Someone stretched in your passenger seat and kicked the drain tube off down there. This happened and kept happening in my wifes 05 special edition. We got our dealer to fix it permanently under warranty, and I told them to change the carpets under warranty as well because the problem had made them smell like mold.
