I also haven't seen anyone actually DRIVING a tC or xA around here. I saw a PW tC parked, and there used to be a Thunder Cloud Metallic (aka Silver ) xA just down the block.

 

i wave but i also hug strangers. Im friendly

 

lol me too! my girls always give me a funny look but we totally laugh after the stranger is gone. my pseudo-ex thinks it's super cute. i kiss strangers too! ha!

 

 

i only usually wave a the boxes, i have waved at like one tC owner tho.

I dont honk or wave at anyone, regardless of the model. I just give a noticeable glance.

 

i honk mostly at XB's b/c XA's and TC's dont return my waves...oh well half peace sign it is! LoL j/k! but yea ive gotten happy hopping in there seat waves and ive gotten half hearted waves....or just plain What the hell?? are you on crack faces...

stopped at a traffic light next to a black xb...on 18s in madison,wi and asked him how much the box started at....punk was like "too much for u"......lucky we didnt stop again or would,ve whooped him and the rest of his white boi pranksters.....

Saw my first RS2.0 in Alameda CA, and I started waving like mad to it... musta looked like a fool! anyways, this tough looking black guy stares back and flips me off...

made me sad...

 

Thats why I dont honk or wave. In this crazy messed up society of ours which is the MOST violent society of all stable industrial/post industrial societies... People could easily take a honk and a wave the wrong way and pull out a shotgun and blow your car away. Well thats extreme, but I like to be cautious. If they wave, I will wave back, but I probably wont initiate it.

 

I feel the majority true Scion owners got their cars awhile ago. Now the mean new people are starting to get them, mostly for the gas mileage not because they love them for what they are, so not everyone will wave or honk because they have no idea of our true love of everything Scion. And yes, this is a shame

Recently (right before I got my xB) a guy got some major road rage against me. I didn't do anything to him and he cut me off and started slamming on his brakes. He was trying to race me or something and he lost and got ____ed. I eventually hit him (after the fifth time he slammed on his brakes) and he jumped out of his car, shoved down my window and reached *inside my car*. I thought he was going to kill me. Instead, he just ripped out my rearview mirror and screamed in my face. Turns out the car is registered under some lady who is wanted by the police.

I live in (what we all thought was) a nice city.

People are insane. I figure xB owners are different - quirky, not insane. I still won't honk at someone who cuts me off, but I'll honk and grin at people driving Scions.

I'm embarrased to use the horn. Have you heard that thing? It's like asking to be egged.

 

Considering I live in L.A. (not the friendliest drivers around) people usually don't even look at me if they are in their Scions and see me in mine. Maybe I need a friendlier state.
