waves or salutes an nods at all scion drivers i see... if i see them in time... hey....even got a bcp tC to wave at me... cant say the same for the bsp xA and fm tC I was pacing on I-5 today.... 2 xBs i saw were in front of me or 2many lanes over to see eachother wave... but usually get a wave back if they see me in time

 

It's so rare to actually see ANY Scion that we often pull over and talk about them in a parking lot face to face.

 

I always beep beep and wave. You can't call it a honk. It sounds nothing like a honk. It could be called a toot. But that could be confused with a bodily function. So I think I'll stick with the beeping. I don't always get a beep or a wave back. Some people just don't understand. We are different and it's OK to be friendly. If you own a Scion it should be understood that other Scions will beep at you. If you don't like it, you should not be driving a Scion.

 

Sometimes I'm nice to people..majoritively speaking..I don't cuz most people don't know what they're driving now adays. I drove buy a few tC owners around here..and they don't acknowledge my existence of owning the same car as them. Then there's the xA's and xB's where I see a few modded ones, and my existence is denied...or I stop next to a stock one...and they ignore that I'm alive...all in all I've given up. My vote is people suck!...wish I lived near some nicer Scions..hehe

DelayedTurbo, some people are just grim. Doesn't matter what they drive.

(For example the TCM xB pictured in my profile that parks next to my PW xB here at the apartment - he won't even acknowledge anyone when both just got out of their xBs and are standing in the parking lot.)

 

i try and wave at people....usually only if i can get eye contact though. otherwise i don't bother. usually the tC guys that i see on the freeway give me hollerbacks xB's always....xB love i guess xA's usually not....they don't even look up, even when i'm in my xA....

 

i used to wave but some of these people in socal aren't so nice. i've been given dirty looks also. like this one punk i saw, we where both entering the freeway and i said watup and he ignored me like he was toooo cool to say sup. i now i dont bother anymore. some people man...

 

I've only had my rs2 xB for a month now and i have yet to run into any xA's. I've ran into a few xB's..........and still have yet to have the other person honk or wave back! They look at me like i'm retarded. The only tC's i've seen around here are owned by military guys, and in my area, they aren't the nicest people to deal with.

 

i've gotten a thumbsup from a cutie in an xb, i threw a thumbsup back.

 

When Im driving and happen to pass one, I always turn my head to look at them while they pass and they always do the same. they are always older people so I dont wave.

 

It looks like only bout half of us are having positive reactions from other Scion owners. Sorry about that, but it prolly has something to do with where some of us live. Thats part of why I moved away from the big city (Detroit). Everyone there is just to busy to be sociable. Thats too bad.

 

i think detroit guys are super sociable..... and like 70% of the guys are hot.

I'm sorry, I ment big cities in general compared to small towns.
Too many people in too small of an area tends to raise the stress level of the average person compared to a smaller town.
