the title says it all . i want to get a body kit for my girls xa but she has an 06 and bieng that the bumpers ect r different i dont know if they will fit the same? somebody please help?

i know the RS1.0 grill for the 04-05 did not fit my 06... i had to sand some edges down...

im not sure. but i'd go so far as to say no...

 

no lip kits out for the 06 except for that rs3 lip, everything only fits 04-05. Full bumper kits like FAB, SPIRITS, mostly all VIP and JDM, will fit, just need to the usual work to make a body kit fit.

So if it says 04-all or anything like that, it isn't true, most companies just assume the years are the same, but the 04-05 are different then the 06

 

yeah.. thats my take on it as well.

Basically, if you have a 06 , the only thing out there is a RS3- Kenstyle kit will work(but IMO it is grossly overpriced, for fiberglass).

I'm at the point that, I'd just like to add some kind of lip-kit to the front(maybe even a nice carbon-fiber splitter)- something that would give my ride at least some function up front(downforce/ better aerodynamics). The sides to me are fine.. I don't need anything there , and possibly some kind of rear-lip would also be nice.

Its just a matter of time that another company will come out with a dope front+rear lip kit for our rides... and the first outfit that does/ and does it right, will be in serious competition with Kenstyle- since Kenstyle is the ONLY one right now raking in all the $$$ off '06 owners who want a kit to add. Also, if they do it right(proper styling/aerodynamics- we are mpg rides after all- , the lip kits should be polyprophalene/ or carbon-fiber).
I'll probably do something with the front bumper/lip/splitter situation- maybe custom... but I'll wait it out till March/April or so.

 

There are plenty of body kits out there just for the 06 xA. I like when websites say 04-07 xA

 

this what my friend did he got this kit from japan well the kit did fit but when it came to the grill the 06 grill did not fit so he bought one for a 04-05 grill will post pics of his body kit

Yeah... I personally think replacing the whole bumper is unnecessary, IMO. A nice lip kit should easily suffice, and set off the front/rear end very nicely/ tastefully.

 

yea for the 06 you have to do full bumper replacements. That tiara garage body kit is sick. The crew that is in my area built a scion xa for sema and used that kit. Jade crew. Their xa looked sick with that kit as does that one in the picture here. Beautiful kit.

 

Short answer is no they will not really fit. must change the whole bumper most times.

If you want you can have the JP kit stretched to your 06 bumper , get the RS3 kit or the KS JDM kit. Those are proven to work.

 

thanks for the help guys ... so i will have to change the bumper meaning just the bumper cover or the support as well?
