Actually me and the wife spent two nights sleeping in the xA after a failure with the air mattress during our 10 day trip to Key West Fl.
Here is how to sleep in the xA, recline the front seats fully and retract away from the steering wheel the back seats must be in the up position to do this, open the front windows one half inch for ventilation , stuff a blanket between the front seats and put something in the floor board area to support your legs,I used a small duffel bag, blanket-sheet and pillows complete the bed that sleeps two.
Not the best nights sleep but it worked well enough.

ok..... my idea was laying down in the middle back area with the seats down... with my head to the back trunk area.... and have my legs in the middle console area
this will maybe sleep myself.... but if i'm with someone else i'll try your idea
thanks!

I'm sure the same idea will work for one person as well, the trick to getting the best nights rest is the correct amount of stuff in the floor board area to support your feet and legs.
It wasn't till the second night that I got it right.

depends on what kind sleep ur looking to get a...A lil bump n grind ?( possible push both from seats up
(im 6ft 250lbs with 5ft 8 gf 110 lbs pleanty of room) ) and for a full good nights rest eh its possible but lil tight (HINT remove the head rest and use it as head support lil stiff but it works)

Back seats folded down. Front seats pushed as far forward as possible, with seat backs unlocked and pushed up to the dashboard. Full size air mattress. Me (6'0", 235lb) and my girlfriend (5'4", 100lb) were very comfortable, even including activities.
I've spent many a night sleeping in the front seat of my xa in walmart parking lots across the country when I haven't had the cash for a motel. Not the most refreshing sleep in the world, but does the trick. I've slept in the back seat; kinda cramped. Putting the rear seats down was on my backup list during a recent case of... er, being "between homes"... but never got around to it. I'm 5'6" and and think it's doable, at least for me. I've also slept in the back of a corolla (I think) on a particularly windy camping trip, putting the back seats down with half my body in the trunk, in a diagonal position. I'd recommend some sort of sleeping pad like a thermarest. Inflatable pool mats work in a pinch and are super cheap, but don't last quite as long. Get 2, and duct tape them together. And yes, I'm the queen of ghetto fab, but 120k miles later and I've seen all but 6 states in my scion.
