Default Help! Blew Fuse! An important one!

I was changing out the LEDs in my cubby and in a moment of pure stupidity that I will forever regret, I forgot my car door was open and in the blink of an eye, the wires crossed and I heard the small pop.

Now, my dome and cubby light do not light up. The radio won't work. The car alarm wont work. And, the gas gauge is all wierd.

I know I have to replace three fuses from what I have gathered from the forums, but no one says which fuses to replace. My manual says only where the fuse boxes are, not what controls what.

And just so I can be sure not to mess up something else, what is the proper way to replace a fuse?

open the fuse box, use the map and ONLY replace one at a time. that way you can test and make sure you fixed or didnt fix the problem. ONLY replace fuses with the same amp fuse. just go to AutoZone or Shucks and buy a small box of fuses, should cost about 10.00 and replace the blown ones.

you can buy a big box of the micro fuses at harbor freight, I've got about 2000 micro fuses, cause whenever we get a clip in at work that has a fuse block I get them all, I'll also scavange junk yards and get them there, just a bit of a scuff on some of the junk yard prongs and they are practically new, better then the $10 for just a few
