Help!! How to reset factory alarm
Hello everyone,
i have a 2006 scion xa manual transmission. Here's the problem, the car won't start. I took it to have a diagnostic done on it and was informed by the master mechanic that the alarm is a factory alarm and it needs to be disabled/reset. He told me they couldn't do it. So I was on google and read there's a way to reset the alarm without taking it to the dealer (I don't have the remote)...does anyone know how to do this? Or is there a way to order a new remote for my model with the vin from scion?? Thanks in advance for all your help.

The xA did not come factory with keyless entry, it was an add on option.
Next to your dimmer wheel, is there an LED light that says scion security, with something that looks like a microphone?
