if it said scion then it might be the protective sticker that goes on the bumper like how the BB plate goes on the xB. If thats what your talking about

The sticker in mention is made out of a tough polyurethane film. It's self adhesive and has a "Scion" logo centered on the applique which is very light so it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Its primary use is to prevent damage to the paint on the bumper when loading things in and out of the hatch. Think of it as a clearbra or Rockblocker style of material.

You can pick these up at your local scion parts counter/ accessory store for about $58.00 not including tax. It can be easily installed by yourself. ( you can also get this item from scionsport.com for $39.00 plus S&H)

Check the exterior accessory section of Scion.com or Scionsport.com

maybe we could shed some light here for those that have questions.

The Scion dealer has what is called a 14 mil urethane rear bumper top piece that goes for $58 or so bucks that says "Scion" on it.

Then there is the 8 mil urethan film that is clear and does not say anything it.

The differences are

14 mil - would be stronger of course
It says Scion
Thicker means thicker edges which means dirt will collect easier on the lighter colors
The film doesnt have a high gloss clear coat and over time will show a yellow look to it

8 mil - The material of choice for clear bras
It is totally clear and clean
Higher gloss finish to it
Thinner edges makes it harder for dirt to collect along the edges
We can get it to for a fraction of the price that Scion sells theirs for. Cant post prices here, but you can contact us if you are interested in saving the rear bumper.
