Ok my wife was driving down the highway and her serpentine belt shredded itself so we had it towed and the belt and alternator replaced because the bearing was bad. During the process of finding an alternator we found out there were two choices an 80amp and 85 amp,
the 80 amp was thirty dollars cheaper so I chose that one. Ever since the replacement of the alternator when you start the car the park lights and dash lights flash for for about 60 seconds. Would this be because I need the 85 amp alternator?
