How many Miles on your xA?
#201
Just turned 75,000 on my 05. I drove it from Santa Fe, New Mexico to Hampton, Va (a 2000 mile trip) many times. I've only had routine maintence. I have gone 5000 miles per oil change a few times due to being in rural Mexico. My driving has been hard: mountians, desert dust, etc. I've had no trouble at all. The only glitch I've had is the gear light at the shifter does not light up (no doubt to my spilling, many, many drinks on it. Cars pass me on the moutain passes, but, so what, I'ts great on gas and has never let me down. I love it.

Mileage on XA
I have an xA RS 1.0 with 165,000+ on it. I can't remember the actual but I'll get it in the next couple days. This mileage may not be entirely correct as I replaced the 17" wheels it came with, with standard xA rims and wheels for winter driving.
I've only had the 17" rims on for short periods in the summer. I asked the dealer if this would affect the mileage or if the speedometer would need to be re-calibrated and they really didn't have an answer for me.
Besides basic maintenance, I have had to replace two coils. They told me it was odd when the first one went but I can't complain. The A/C no longer works but that is because of a leak.
This was caused by my daughter hitting in her words, the biggest raccoon she has ever seen.
This car has been the best car I have ever owned and I've had a few since I'm 44.

I bought my Scion xA July 2006 and now have 50859 miles on it.
I use Amsoil every oil change and use Amoil in the Brake fluid and Manual transmission case.
Love the car I average 33 mpg driving 63 miles a day.

we live in a little town outside of San Antonio and she drives about 120 miles round trip every day and my last mileage check we were getting 32 miles to the gallon. Last tune up I put the double platinum plugs in and it seemed to make a difference especially in the idling and acceleration.Next service date I'm gonna try the Royal Purple oil and see if I can tell any difference.I offered to trade it in for a new one but she wont hear of it. She drives it like it's a little go-cart.

I have only driven about 8,000 miles this year.. The car was brought out late due to weather, and I haven't really done anything this year. It's almost time to put the car up again. I missed all the shows I went to last year...
