Default How to relocate Battery in an xA to the trunk?

I can't get the car to turn on when i install the battery in the trunk.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong but can someone do a write up and detailed pics.

I wasnt planning on relocating my batt to the back but i was going to add another one. My stereo shop was going to do it.Ill see if i can convince them to let me get pics and a write up

Is it properly grounded somewhere? Is there a direct connection with your starter and fuse box? Why are you doing it, and do you have any photos dade?

So? Its dead, no lights or anything or it wont crank? Maybe hte wires are not heavy enough if its lights only.

If your running a battery to the back I highly suggest at least a 4-0awg make sure you have at least 1 fuse between the battery and your + cable to the engine ( I have 2one in the engine bay and one about 1/2 ft before the battery).... I had no problems converting it

Default battery relocation

im new to this,but can you do a write upand detailed s with pics on how to do it exactly.the radio turns on but the car wont start.

I agree with the thicker, heavier wires. I had an old mercedes diesel that needed a jump. It could not be jumped with standard cables as they arent heavy enough for enough poiwer to travel for it to crank, but ok to run the acessories.
