Me too! I'm probably the oldest person I've seen driving an xA here, and I'm 47. And I look every minute of it, too! After plenty of research, I concluded the xA was the best value for the money, and the most fun to drive. After the 36,000 mile warranty has expired, I plan to lower mine and put bigger wheels and tires on it, maybe do some other suspension modifications, maybe improve the intake/exhaust for better breathing. I hope Toyota doesn't pull the plug on this great little car, but I guess if it's not selling well enough they probably will. Too bad for the uninitiated...they don't know what they're missing!

My wife an I are both 45. We wanted a fuel efficient car that was fun to drive (5 speed). Scion/Toyota was a "natural" choice since we also own a 2004 Sienna and it has been rock solid reliable.

I see a fair number of xA's here in Maryland, and many of the drivers appear to be in their 30's. BTW, I think that I read the xA sales are up 15% over last year. We're doing our part... we just bought our xA last week.

xA>tC
I take it you have never run into Carlos and his Team XcelsiA. He and his team have about 6 or 7 xAs. They are all younger than most of the tC and xB drivers--but I kind of tip the scale when it comes to age at some of the meets.......

yea, it's agreed then you can be old and drive a Scion so long as you respect the car and dont drive 20 mph under the speed limit.

Those numbers are very low, compared to most other nameplates. Scion is working at it's job; getting younger people excited about Toyota products. Of course, some older people buy them too, but Toyota certainly isn't going to turn away thier money.

Hmmm I hate to tell you guys this but I have a 2006 xa and love it! I'm 66.
The main reason I bought it is because a friend bought an xb last year and he's 72!!LOL

BTW we both work out 5x/week. I still work as a tool designer using 3d & 2d CAD programs.

My lil ol red xa was made for me!
