Default key chip or not on xA 2006?

I read the forum and other sites but I am not convinced yet if my new xA 2006 has keys with a chip in it and an engine kill?

I'd like to know this to buy only a keyless entry system or a full alarm system.

thanks and sorry for the dummy question...

If a base Ford Focus has it, why would a scion not? The scion has way more then the focus does, at about the same price. So it is possible.
