Default Odometer adustment of 3% for xA too?

Hi all,
My GF just got an xA and I have a question:

Many on here know about multiplying your miles per tank by an additional 3% to get an accurate MPG number for the box.

Does anybody know if that's also true with the xA?
(I also posted this question in the xA forum, but no reply yet.)

BTW....

She got an '05 xA with 13k miles for an OTD price from a dealer of $10,300 that includes T.T.L. The thing is mint too. Hell of a deal.

I checked the ODO on my xB more than once and on stock tires it was off by 10%. When passing 1 mile mark it was only switching to 0.9.

Not sure if its the same for xA/iSt as for xB/bB
the drive train is the same so it should be
The difference comes from OE tire combo being taller in Japan
The bB comes with 185/65/15's, and that's what the odometer is calibrated for not the xB which has 185/60/15's a more common size in the US.

185/60/15 isn't that common every time i've gone to get tires in that size they come up with very few options but if they look under 185/65/15 they get quite a few.

After changing out my wheels I borrowed a GPS that measures MPH and eyeballed my new speedometer variances. Works really well and took a lot of the guesswork out of it.

i am not sure about the stock wheels but when I changed from them to my new 17" wheels I instantly noticed a drop in mpg. So I checked it against mileage markers and found a 5% variance. I doubled on the 900 mile trip to FL and it came up as a multiplier of 1.051. I thought that i bought the closest 17" combo to the OE wheels but there is a difference. B
