Ok so recently my check engine light came on in my 06 xA. Now when I put gas in my car it acts like it is going to stall out. Is anyone else having this problem or have had this problem? I really love this car but seem to be having a lot of evap system problems.

 

How many times is the gas cap clicking? Make sure it's closed all the way. That's odd though. Does it shut off after some time? Have you checked to see what code you're throwing? That should be the first thing to check. Invest in a scanguage!

 

My husband is an ASE certified mechanic and we use snap on's modis system that is updated daily so we know that it is not the gas cap or a seal problem. We have had problems with this system in the past.
