Ive been looking at the vr3 rear camera they have at pepboys for 70 bucks or so depending on rebate. I still with the hatch back in some situation put the car in park and run outside and look to see how I am situated when I park.

I was thinking this is soo small it maybe possible to mount the monitor to the front dome lamp housing and use the wires inside to power it. The camera would be powered by the reverse lights.

What do you guys think? Is it known if this monitorer can be used for other video sources like a dvd or tv tuner?
