repainting scion xa
im currently planning on repainting the scion xa, i have a 04 with indigo, and some good bodywork has to be done. Im doing this all by myself, im stuck on what to do about the color.
heres the choices
blue satin pearl clear on white base
electric blue pearl clear with dark blue basecoat
gold pearl on orange base
which do you think would look best?
im about to start this in december, this will be the second car i have painted, im still a beginner, but i pretty much have it down, i painted my 2005 toyota prius with jade blue pearl, ( very very close to tideland pearl )
also im painting a 2001 prius i have, with those same color combos which one would look best.

Dang, you paint your own cars? You must have mad painting skills.
If I had to choose , I'd go with the electric blue pearl clear with dark blue basecoat. My second choice would be the blue satin pearl clear on white base. The gold pearl on orange base might be interesting, but personally I've always thought that gold looked a little too "90's"ish. Just my two cents.
Yeah... second vote for the Electric BLUE !!!!!! Be sure to put some nice white wheels(my recommendation) on there when your done- 15" would be fine, esp. if your wanting to optimize mpg.
