Pretty disturbing, huh?

For the record, the first one didn't have an Evo ;)
You know what the Civic had done to the K20? That's very impressive
And don't get me wrong, I totally respect Hondas...like I said, I turbocharged my Integra and had 250whp on the stock bottom end. That Civic is pretty fast, but I thought we were talking about a race from a stop, not a highway roll. From a stop the Evo would have won pretty badly I think. Anyway, good vid!

I'm not sure with a race from a stop.. >> you know that Civic is freakin' fast? WEIGHT REDUCTION.. as what i've said, they stripped it down - stripping to any possiblity to get maximum lesser weight.. Nothing done with with it, naturally aspirated..

that was pretty cool
, i'll post my newb comment on this, ofcouse i never race anyone before, not in an xA anyways. but the question just boggs me, why are we drag racing in a 1.5L 108HP engine? isn't drag racing is all about speed on a strait away? i would though a bigger engine like the tC is a better fit something with a bit more potential for power, it really doesn't matter what we do, 1.5L can only do so much.... But yeah, the oponent is a civic, it's a more balance match up. I would never thought the xA is a drag racing car
mine can't barely get up to 100 on the freeway, but i have an auto, so that might be the difference maker.

I raced an EG sedan from a light one time. He kept revving at me so I figured I would try him out. He was playing music really loud so I think he had a big sub in the back and he was doing the gangster lean so his car was possibly an automatic and I beat him by about 2 car lengths by the time he gave up. So while xAs are slow they aren't any slower than the rest of the ____box cars out there.

A bigger engine doesn't necessarily mean better performance.
LOL...I don't get it either, but rest assured that there are slower cars out there. I was at the track yesterday and a Mazda MX-3 ran a 20.4 against a riced out (well, they were both pretty bad) Focus that ran a 19.6

the reason i asked about the rain is the driver will determine the race in these conditions if the cars are evenly matched (xa vs civic) anyways, i think the race coulda been won by the xA
