I am a new member and I’m just about to finish the papers for getting my new Scion XB. I just needed some help because where I live only the XA is sold so my XB was shipped from the US…I need to know if I can use XA spare parts on the XB because if I cant then I’m stuck and will have to go with another car. I’d appreciate any response.

 

I believe a number of engine parts are swappable.

 

depends on what parts you are talking about

the xA and the xB share the same engine/drivetrain ... obvisiously the body parts are different ..

but you should be ok if you are talking engine/tranny wise

 

if you can get your car shipped there, i would imagine you can get parts shipped there as well.

 

well they posted this in the scion news section as well and said the a/c and brakes need to be replaced.
