I'm ordering some stuff for my xa, which will come in a week. My xa comes with side airbags&curtain, and the mat sets ( the dealer can't get one w/o them by the time I want the car). I wanna add more stuff on it, most of which are pretty basic:

1) Sports pedals
I think they look good.

2) Cargo net
There are some threads discussing about it. I guess I'll just get it, just in case I may use it.

3) Seat cover sets.
I wanna protect the seats and get some color for the interior. So I ordered a set from ebay. Should be here soon.

4) This one I'm not sure if I should get and I really need your opinion! - rear bumper applique!
Cuz I don't know how useful it'll be, for me. I don't carry large stuff in the back often, and I don't have pets that can ride with me. So how easy is the top surface of the rear bumper to get scratched? How expensive and difficult for me to do paint touch-up by myself?

BTW, I found there are two types of bumper applique out on the market and don't know which one is better.

Seems like an OEM one. Although I'm not sure it'll look good on my SRP xa.

This one is transparent. So may look better than the black rubber one. But does that compromise its protection function?

I also don't know if over the time, this applique may get dirty on the edge and peal off. That may look worse than I don't have it in the first place at all, right?

I'd like to make the decision asap since my xa is coming. Any suggestion is welcome. Thank you!

 

i have a clear bumper applique on my xa. I think the clear is better for the lighter color cars, the black for darker. both do the same function, i sit in the back with the hatch open from time to time and carry things in the back as well. if you dont do it at all then dont bother with it. it only covers the top of the bumper the width of the hatch
only the edges of the applique get dirty and just some careful cleaning clears it right off.

i dont have the cargo net and dont see the need because i drive with the back seats down. i dont get many passengers.

sports pedals are nice, i have 3a racing red and silver. it is even niicer if you can find a complimentary steering wheel cover and shift boot and shift **** if it is manual.,

it would be nice if ou can find some seat covers for both the front and back. thats what i'm trying to do.

When I was in SoCal I went to a Scion show and I remember seeing an xA with red petals, steering wheel and a nifty little notched shift cover (bootless) with all of the gears illuminated when you're in that gear. I'd love to find one of those but I'd had no luck.

 

1. I have the silver sport pedals. I like the feel of them (with the raised bumps) and they look a lot nicer than the regular pedals.

2. I don't like the cargo net all that much.

4. I have a Flint Mica xA and I want to get the dark bumper cover since I am always shoving stuff in the boot, and I know a box or something is going to scratch the bumper eventually.

noderat, or anyone. I'd love to get some information about the illuminated gears thing. I've been thinking for a while how it would be possible to make the gear that you are in illuminate on top of the gear ****. I think that would look great.
