I want to replace the scion Emblems on my car with Toyota Emblems. I've seen other XA's with Toyota Emblems. Is there a specific type/size that we need or are they all the same?

The JDM ITS Toyota Emblems are usually over priced. I see new regular Toyota Emblems selling for $10 shipped on ebay. I'm just not sure if we need a specific one or if any one will fit.

 

Well first off, it's the 'Toyota ist'. If you don't want to pay for the badges from Japan then take a trip to the dealership and see if they can match some badges for you. If you don't want to do that then measure the width and height of the Scion badges and match those dimensions with whatever you find on eBay or wherever online.

 

You're right about the ist. I couldn't remember and just went by what taman86 posted.

I'm mainly concerned about how the Toyota Emblem mounts on the car and if all or most OEM Toyota Emblems mount the same way.

I guess I'll just have to measure it and test my luck by ordering one on ebay.

Depending on which ones you get they might have the little pins to line it up correctly like factory(of course matching the original car intended), others not, so it could just be slapped on without modification.

 

That i know of none of the badges from toyota fit the rear hatch badge. Because we have that indention on the hatch. Now i helped a friend with his and what we did is we took a badge off the grill of a latest tacoma snapped the clips off and put some 3M tape on the back and it fit perfect.
