from all the crappy wether in the NW my tip has changed to a goldish color and has dirt i cant get off is there anyway to fix it or am i screwed?

 

Use some Eagle1 Wadding Polish. With a little elbow-grease, it will clean up pretty good. Another option is to polish it with some "0000" steel wool. Just make sure that it's "0000", as in 4 zeros. Anything less than "0000" will scratch it.

 

you could try some of that blue magic polish from autozone too. works wonders on any surface
