i get alot of cute compliments, but i dont mind. alot of people dont know what a xA is so i usually start off by saying..."you know that boxy shaped car..."

He changed the topic after that, guess he didnt want to look stupid asking what a Scion was hehehehe
my convos are like this too. there is also an awkward silence

Typically I have to explain what a scion is by doing the whole "boxy car" explanation thing too, thought usuall they get it confused with the hideous Aztek.

Them: What's a SKY-ON?
Me: So, you know that boxy car, like really square?
Them: *blank stare*
Me: That's a Scion.
Them: But yours isn't a box?!
Me: Yes, but mine is a different model.
Them: So is yours a Toyota then?
Me: *growl*

Default hello

Most notably I get ppl mistaken it for the PT cruiser by dodge, lol.Around here we don't have many Toyota Dealerships and Scions ,any for that matter r rare.As a owner of a Scion Xa I have maybe seen 1 Xa around here and about 3 XB's .The Toyota dealership around here sold a 2004 Scion XB that wasn't modified too well for 18 grand .Just a note I had to get outside of my nieborhood and got a 2006 XA for 15 grand after it was all said and done.

i took my car across the border to toronto.... my cousin is a manager of a toyota dealership there and he had all of my parts installed. anyway, while i was there all the workers were shocked and so were the customers because they dont have these cars there, and because i rebadged it from scion to toyota with the rear toyota "T", one guy said "wow are those the new echoes were going to be getting?" haha, sadly for the guy, he was disappointed when he found out that it is a scion and that he cannot get one unless he imports it.

Best one yet for me was..........."Is that one of dem race cars?"

Of course the old "what is that, is that a hybrid?"

And ditto on BozzMan...........roller skate. Have a friend at the office who calls me rollerdawg because I like hot dogs and drive a roller skate.

i've gotten the mini confusion a lot.

a coworker of mine calls it a baby shoe. cause she thinks it looks like a big baby shoe.

my mom and aunt both drive matrixes (matrices?), and my cousin just got a vibe. my family likes driving similar cars, apparently.

but mine is the cutest of them all.

and yes, i said cute. that's why i got it. cause it's cute.

My Brother-in-law asked me where I insert the wind-up key for my xA, While I was at his wedding. He only teased me 'cause he drives a Ford Ranger, and his entire family drives Ford trucks. But, that was the first time I heard that.
