alright, i've got a weapon-r 4-2-1 header on its way(finally!) and im thinkin bout buying a TRD catback(unless you guys can think of anything with better performance, but not too obnoxious). ive got a CAI but am enjoying rollin without it for the time being. and im lookin at about a 20HP gain, if that. i wanted to know what your rollin with and whats the best set up in your opinions in terms of performance, while still preserving driveability, this is my daily driver.

 

i hate to say it but there no best setup........everyone has the own opions on looks,sound. not sure ive youll gain 20 hp with I/H/E i know with the tc you might but the XA has a smaller engine

 

true, i guess its just more the thrill of working on your car and improving on it.

 

yup,people do it to make the car sound little better and im sure youll gain some power but nothing huge....I have I/H/E and NST pullies on my tc......i noticed a big power gain with everything togther but i have the TWP Throttle controller which allows me to ajust the throttle to my desire makes the car open up and pull better....

 

Highly unlikely that you'll see 20 HP gains from an I/H/E setup in the xA. 5? Maybe.

AFAIK though, the TRD is not a catback on the xA (even if some places advertise it as such). So far, the only catbacks to my knowledge are the Borla and Magnaflow.

There's not much you can do to sabotage the driving ability of the xA, as long as you're running parts from trusted brands.
