Who's buying all the manual xA's??
I have been reading these boards for a while, and I decided I want to get an xA... If i could find the one I wanted then I would get it... but all dealers in the Northeast are out of Phantom Grey pearl scion xA's that are manual... In fact i couldent even test drive a standard yet... very bummed
Fact of the matter is that they just aren't making as many standards as they used to. Most people want automatic transmission now a days. I'd say for every 10 Scions at the dealership, 1 was a standard. There are only 11 polar white, manual tranny xAs out of all the xAs available in the 5 closest states! They have to transport mine from the port at Jacksonville, FL.
I'll stick with my stick, tyvm!

I went with a black one because I could not get 5spd in phantom grey.
We have an automatic phantom grey 2004 at our dealer that has been there for months. I feel bad for it, someone please buy it and love it.

part of the problem lies in how far from your location your dealer is willing to search for the model and color you want. i went to three dealers in the boston area and got three different answers to my question of how long it would take to get the color/options i wanted. my dealer was able to secure a phantom gray with manual and side air bags (a requirement for me) in two weeks. the two other dealers i visited couldn't come close to a delivery time that fast.
but chose a Polar White 5spd, my dealer (Price Scion in New Castle, DE) had to get it from a dealer in Lancaster, PA. Took 2 days before I had the car once I told him what I wanted. Good luck with your search and your new xA (once you get it of course)!
