I like the mobile 1 ad where they fit a tundra v8 in the xb2.

I want a jet engine in my xa, just got to fine a way to keep it from sucking the interior, windows and my hair into the intake. Nothing like getting your windshield sucked into the turbine.

Anything is possible, but i would think a 2ZZ would be a better way to go, you are already at 180 just a little tweaking and it could get you to 200.

If you want some weight reduction, you could always remove your interior and if you want VIS makes a carbon fiber rear hatch and hood for the XA, that would help a bit I am sure!

Yeah, the 2ZZ-GE has 180 HP stock, its from the Celica GT-S, Corolla and Matrix XRS, and the Pontiac Vibe GT. The 2ZZ is also located in the Lotus Elise and Exiges and is 190 HP. So as you can see its almost there already.

Well I could use a little more power myself, and I have almost all of the affordable bolt-ons that you can buy. Its goes ok, but in the end, for me, its still just a commuter.

very nice. im a pretty big fan of nissan myself... ive always wanted a 240sx... well id really like anything with a SR20DET. but def some old school datsun. id like to see it.

but if i can get enough money to have another daily driver ill check into that 2ZZ motor swap. well i guess i could go ahead and check into it. im just so sick of a 110hp. its so slow. and ill work on lessening the weight. i guess it doesnt help that i like subs. but i only have 1 12in with an amp in the car so its not too bad and i could take the spare out too i dont even think its usable anymore... my cai just isnt enough. but my wallet tells me it has to be. booo!

I wouldnt mind having an old diesel club cab truck that got over 40mpg. We need another mini truck manufacture.

110hp slow? You must be shifting way too early. Sure, out the lot its ho-hum, but after adding a strup muffler, man, it pulls to redline and can really haul.

It dosnt really feel like the same car. Now with the weapon r header 4,2,1, its more lower end and I am short shifting to desired speed, vs shifting at 6 grand.

Got to admit I miss shifting at 6 grand.

yea 110 hp isnt enough for me. thats why im lookin for the motor swap or maybe just FI. all i have is the cai right now. soon ill lower it, do a megan racing header and custom cat back with megan muffler. hopefully thatll pick up soon.... plus my car is sadly an automatic. blah. it was the only used one on the lot and i needed a car quick so i took it. maybe i can switch it to a manuel if i do the motor swap too.

I have a stick shift and often wished I had automatic as its easier to do stop and go driving distracted. Wonder how hard a swap is?

Mines was 12 grand and change new, the auto model was like 17995. It had a spoiler, radar detector and skid control.
