hey all,

i recently purchased my xa a couple days ago (dec. 21) and have instantly fell in love with it...

i've been a member of the scionlife boards for some time now, and even though this place is a wealth of knowledge, a lot of xa info is mixed in with the xb...

not that it's necessarily a bad thing because our cars are similar to each other, but the xb easily overshadows the xa and just thought it would be nice to have a separate place solely for the xa...

i recently read the thread about 'xatuner.com' being hacked/cracked and while i personally have never been there, it seemed like a great resource place for parts and info, and probably more important a community...

i don't know what the status of the site is but i just wanted to say that trying to find another xa forum has been difficult...

so i was hoping to maybe create something new for the xa community... i recently purchased a domain and bought a license for vbulletin to run a forum... wondering if there was anybody out there willing to help contribute to a new xa/ist community?

and just for the record i'm not trying to step on anybody's toes or take away anybody's limelight, i just think it would be nice to have a forum dedicated to the xa...

anyway, if there is any interest to help, feel free to e-mail or pm me, i'd be happy to hear from those willing to contribute... i'd like to get this going as quickly as possible to hopefully bring the xa community a little closer together

 

maybe Mr xAtuner himself might like to join you on this project if the site can't be ressurected. I like the saying "build it and they will come." Hey just try it out, most of us are friendly and will give ya some support.

 

hey, that would be great. i have a lot of ideas running, and regardless if it attracts 2 or 200, i'll continue to improve on it for the sake of the xa

but I can't view any of the posts which I could read earlier on the 31st. I had a hard time registering earlier on Sunday, so I didn't get to it until the wee hours of the 1st.

There was some down time from about 12A-5A for system maintenance I'm assuming.
