Not sure what country this is from. I was just at vvti.net and a member there was posting about his Corolla. I'm looking at the link he provided for a dealership and I see they're selling the xA as a Toyota.

I know like so many others the xA cane from Japan as the ist. I didn't know that the Scion xA was being sold as a Toyota xA in other countries. Anyone else knew? I thought Scions were unique to the US. :?

The colors of their xAs are different from ours, personally not in a good way. At least not all of them.

 

interesting--left hand drive. it's hard to tell, but i think it has the scion badges on it, too. oh, it's in the united arab emirates.

i live in the middle east
Car name: Toyota xA, no Scion dealer no ISTs
Price: 11,700$ for manual & 12,200$ for auto

Car Specification:
Standard rims (see my xA pics in my profile) that what you have optional
No pioneer cd stereo, only cassete & radio like the corolla (i replaced it with jvc)
we already have xA mats and A/C filter

dont know if there is other differences. All other specs are same even same engine 1.5

the real ____ is that we don't xB at all, but maybe maybe the tC may may come i dont know about that

in middle east we have some roads you can speed as you like no cops no radars no speed limit

some times i drive 180km/h about 112mp/h

That's cool, I was just kinda surprised Toyota had the xA there,

 

I don't think Toyota will change the name of the xA to ist anytime soon as they have already spent time and money marketing the xA in the US. The ist, you'll recall is a JDM name. Maybe in the future they'll do what Mitsu did and change their base car's name from the American name (Mirage) to the international name (Lancer) and then they'd sell the xA as the ist. However, I've read that the xA and xB will not go thru the usual development and will be replaced with comletely new models. Who knows?
